Paul D. Trujillo

October 10, 1964 - May 2, 2024
Paul D. Trujillo
Our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend was called back to be with our Heavenly Father on May 2nd, 2024. His passing was much too early, and he will truly be missed.
Paul "Policarpio" Dean Trujilllo was born on October 10th 1964 in Salt Lake City UT at Holy Cross Hospital to Leonor Fabiola Trujillo and Leopoldo Donald Trujillo.

He has two amazing children, Yvonne and Steven, who remember him as a good dad, listener, hard worker and great mentor who was never afraid to take on a challenge. He loved to go thrifting with his kids, discovering new restaurants and watching new movies.

Paul's two kids, Yvonne (32) Steven (29) remember him as a great listener, positive influence, and mentor offering life advice and always embracing the challenges in life.

He retired from working for the Salt Lake City Street Department after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement by following his passion of riding his bike throughout Salt Lake City as well as going for walks with his loved ones.

During his 30 years at SLC working on the street department Paul worked on repairing roadways, and keeping them safe during the winter months by operating a snow plow in the upper east side. Paul retired after 30 years, and he was grateful that he wouldn't have to be called in during the holiday seasons anymore.
To remember him is to remember his endless jokes, his warm conversations and his infamous dance moves. He shared many great qualities of his mother, such as having the ability to bring life to a party, being impeccably organized, and most importantly being a great protector.

He is preceded in death by his mother Nora Trujillo, whom he and the rest of our family have missed dearly.

He is survived by his father Leo D Trujillo, his children, Yvonne R Trujillo and Steven P Trujiillo. His beloved Suzie Suarez. His siblings Susan Duran and her husband John Duran, David Trujillo, Phillip Trujillo and his wife Christine Trujillo, Lori Navarro and her husband Oscar Navarro. As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
