Earla Mae Jarzombek

Earla Mae (Nee Campbell) Jarzombek, 74, of Taylorsville, Utah, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her home. 

Earla was the second of eight children, and was born February 23, 1949 in Rochester, PA to Earl James Campbell and Virginia Mae See. She was the mother of three children, Steven (Zayrah) Jarzombek of Cocoa, FL, Jenny (Jason) Cox of Merritt Island, FL, and Michael Jarzombek of Taylorsville, UT.  She is survived by five sisters and one brother: Lilly (Don) Bittenbender of Bridgewater, PA, JoJo Anderson of Rochester, PA, Sandy (Tim) Capps of New Brighton, PA, Peggy Campbell of Bridgewater, PA, Emma Connor of Aliquippa, PA and Earl “Bussy” Campbell of Beaver, PA. She was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Perry.

Earla was a grandmother of ten children: Kyla Jones, Kyle Jarzombek, Zachary Jarzombek, Baylee Blalock, Kelly Blalock, Jake Cox and Jerek Cox, Kaylynn Jarzombek, Conner Jarzombek and Addison Jarzombek and great-grandmother to one: Alivia LaChappelle. 

Earla grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to California in 1966 where she met and married George Jarzombek in San Jose, CA. Her family moved to Taylorsville in 1991 where she lived until her death. Earla and George divorced in 1995. Earla loved many things: her family and grandchildren, cats, coffee, reading and writing. She was loved by everyone who met her and her life has touched many people. She was a strong and determined lady who survived both cancer and COVID-19, which almost took her 14 months earlier. We were blessed to have her with us a little longer. She will be missed by all that knew her.

The memorial service will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah on Wednesday 15 March 2023 from 6 to 8 PM. Flowers can be sent directly to the funeral parlor.
