Evelyn Mills

Evelyn is a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, cook, athlete .... you name it. She is talented at so many things and she will run circles around you with all of her energy and her vivaciousness.

Evelyn met her sweetheart of 68 years, Bruce, on a blind date. They soon after married and had 3 amazing children; Beckey, Bruce Jr., and Bryan (Martha). They also have 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, whom

they love dearly. Evelyn has always loved spending time with her family. She really enjoyed cooking for them. Evelyn always made family get-togethers and holidays memorable and fun.

She and Bruce had the opportunity to travel the world together. One of her favorite trips was to Australia and New Zealand. She loved how absolutely beautiful it was.

Evelyn really enjoyed her career working for Salt Lake County for 30 years as a computer operator. In her spare time, Evelyn was a fantastic golfer, winning several trophies. She was a 5K runner and took 1st place in her age division every year for 21 years in Yuma, Arizona. She is a Sudoku whiz and solves puzzles in a snap.

Friends may greet the family at an open house on Tuesday, June 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor. Guests are encouraged to park on the north lot, in front of the main entrance.
