Vikki Aleen Allred

Vikki Aleen Allred was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, friend and athlete. She departed this world peacefully at her home surrounded by family on November 12, 2021, at age 69.

Vikki was born to Douglas J. and Geraldine Black Allred on September 14, 1952, in Delta, UT. She graduated from Utah State University where she relished in being a collegiate athlete and was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. After graduating from Utah State, Vikki pursued her dream to coach women’s sports at Murray High School, Utah State and the University of Utah. Vikki embraced development in all aspects of life. Anything she did she excelled. She was an entrepreneur and successful co-owner of the Lakeview Travel Agency and the Triangle Tire Goodyear store with her family.

Vikki was an incredible mother. She taught her two daughters to support each other, learn, love, live, forgive, grow, and be happy. She had a remarkable group of friends and neighbors who supported her. She loved and accepted them unconditionally.

Vikki was adventurous exploring the world with her family and friends. Many of her joys included water skiing, snow skiing, ATV riding, body building, camping, fishing, traveling, hiking, golfing, going to the cabin, reading, attending theater, pickleball, poker, and being the reigning champion of King Crowns. You could say she had a competitive streak.

Vikki is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine (Geri) Allred and survived by her two daughters Taylor Allred (David) and Madison Allred (Kyle), her father Doug Allred, her brother Wade Allred (Suzie), and her nephew Lance Allred. 

A celebration of life and viewing will be held in her honor on November 18, 2021, 6PM-8PM at Starks Funeral Parlor located at 3651 South 900 East Salt Lake City, Utah 84106.
