Our Dear Brooklyn Kaye Holladay, born April 27, 2011 to Kenneth and Amber Holladay.  Brooklyn fought for five days before succumbing to injuries.  Always the giver, Brooklyn donated her organs so other children may live and their families won't have to suffer the pain and anguish Brooklyn's family is enduring now.

"B", as she was affectionally called by many, was curious by nature and always wanted to help.  She loved to paint nails, do makeup, sing, swim and find rolly pollies.  She loved school and will be greatly missed at Studio 56 by friends and teachers.  She was especially protective of her little brother Gage and would not allow anyone to get close to him without her approval.  Brooklyn was and always will be the light of our lives with her blond bouncy curls, infectious giggles, and piercing blue eyes.  "B" may be gone from our lives, but will live forever in our hearts as we continue to keep her spirit alive.  We do not say goodbye - we say we will see you again.

Brooklyn is survived by so many who love her.  Parents Kenneth and Amber; brother Gage; grandparents Clay and Natalie Dalton, Scott and Patty Holladay, and Shaun and Brenda Willis; uncles Scotty and Trey Landgrebe; aunt Kallie (Steven) Paganelli; cousins Liam and Stephan Paganelli; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, friends and her extended Boro family who all treated her as their own. We Love you B!!!

Family would like to extend a special thanks to the two bystanders that administered CPR, first responders, IMC Trauma unit, and a special gratitude to all the doctors and staff at Primary Children's hospital.  Nurses Heather, Greg, Cindi and Gretchen you go above and beyond and make a difficult time bearable.  The family would also like to thank all the close friends, especially Chang who showed their support during this very difficult and emotional time.  We couldn't have done it without all of you!  "B" loved blue, please join us by wearing an item of her favorite color during her Celebration of Life and Services.

A celebration of Brooklyn's life will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, SLC. Complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building.
