Elizabeth Armstrong Johnson

My dear friend Elizabeth, I am facing the reality of having to really say good-bye now. Our weekly Wednesday shopping trips will be the one thing I miss the most. You were always at your best when searching out a bargain. And even on the days when you could barely get out of the car, if I put a shopping cart in front of you, I practically had to jog to keep up. Your tenacious manner, your sage wisdom and rebellious spirit will always be with me.. Thank you for all of the time we spent together, for teaching me so many valuable lessons, and for allowing me to be with you in your last days. I will miss you terribly. And I will do as you have instructed - as I promised. I hope you are with your angels, Ray and David, and my prayer is that you are at peace.
