Farewell " Smiley " Vic and I were buddies. We sometimes met each other at the Legion of 39th. where I am also a member. Vic (the JCI Senator 41590) and I served in the SL Jaycees in overlapping periods, so we had many acquaintances in common. I don't remember where I got his old nickname. Was it from Art? Anyway, I apologize for not being able to make it, this evening. I suffer from PTSD from having worked in graves registration while serving in Viet Nam and am currently saturated and it would not be good for me (or anyone else) for me to attend. I feel that I must confess that the death of my granddaughter on May 27th has a great deal to do with this condition. I will remember Vic not only for our work together in his insurance business, the lunches at the Legion, but I will most miss our sharing of emails which were sometimes naughty but always humorous.
