I'm very sorry to learn of Dougs passing. My wife Wendy and I have been friends with Doug and Julene for many years but had lost track of each other over the years as often happens once our children come along. I have very fond memories of the time Doug and I spent together working for the phone company at the beginning of our career. Our paths crossed several times over the years and we always loved getting the Inskeep Christmas Cards. Doug was truly one of a kind and anyone who knew him knew of his wonderful sense of humor, that contagious laugh and cheerful smile. To Julene and children from all of us Salazar's we express our heart felt condolences for your loss.

To my brother, I loved talking to you about our growing up years and our careers. You loved reading as much as I did and I was glad we could share that interest. I look back with fondness when we were raising our children together and the fun activities we had with each other. We loved staying at your house and visiting with you and your family. To my brother in-law; I always admired what an amazing grandfather you were. Reading at school with a granddaughter, picking up and dropping off kids for sports, music lessons or just to babysit. You were a very caring father and hearing the stories of hunting trips, fishing, camping etc. showed how much you loved being with your children and building memories. I was always amazing how many times you could go to Disney Land and I don't think I know anyone who shared that with family more than yours. You and Julene had such a good relationship and seemed to be each others best friend. We will miss you and pray for peace and comfort for your family at this time.

I will always be fond of uncle Doug and his tenderness he showed to us while we were young. He is a great example of how to be an awesome a uncle. He was a great listener and had a laugh I will always cherish. May he rest in peace and comfort given to his family through the coming years. I am proud to be counted an Inskeep with a man like Doug carrying our family name.
