Dear Laurie: I miss Kevin every second and am not digesting this well at all. He kept calling saying "when are we getting back together". I thought there was time! You two were so close and he adored you. He's with your mom and another little one! I'm so sorry Laurie......I know your heart is cracked in two. So very sorry to hear the news. May you all gain comfort by knowing that God care and promise to bring to a end sickness, pain, even death.(Revelation 21:3,4 ) As we await this promise and many more may we use this time to draw ever closer to God. May your faith in this promise strength you all for the days ahead.

Kev, my friend and brother from another mother! I will miss you so! Our St. Patty's days together, our trips to Wendover, and lots of great times in ordinary days! I will see your smile and hear your belly laugh forever. I can only hope that you are with mama Barb, Sabrina and Gae Gae and that you are in good hands! We'll take care of Laur for you and continue to look forward to your pranks. Who loves ya baby? I do!!!

I found reading the kind words here, along with the many, many faces and kind words at your Celebration of Life last night, very comforting. Dearest Juddy, Mary, Laurie, Marty, Jamie, Nichole, Dawn Rae and all the rest of Kevin's dear family. I read this bad news in the paper yesterday. It is so devastating. My prayers and love are with all of you. You are all very dear to my heart. Please find strength in the great memories he has left for you. Thanks Kevin for all you have done over the years I meet Kevin in 1991 at Staker paving and through the years became Stakerparson companies I enjoyed paving nights with Kevin on I - 15 on Rick Garcia's crew. Thanks for all your dedication and most of all laughs. And I can't forget about cleaning the backs of the shovels. Save a Makers and water for me my friend see you on the other side!!

Kevin, I'm gonna miss you pal. I really enjoyed having you on my crew. You could change my attitude in a second when I heard you laugh. You could mumble all day and I knew you was just venting and that would make me smile, even if I had to hide it for a while. Thank you for everything you've done and for being you. Laurie, I was saddened to hear of Kevin's passing.. We were together for 3 years,so it was very hard for me to hear.We had our good times & bad,but he was a very kind & gentile person. It's been many years since I have seen him. I hope he was happy in his life. I am truly sorry Laurie, I knew ur love for one another. Much Love, Vickie
