Charles Glen Silcox

Virginia, I am so sorry about Glen's passing. Always a friendly hello and chat when I would see him around the Oakwood area. I will miss his distinct voice and personality. All my thoughts are with you.

Dear Virginia, Teresa, Michael, and Geoff, Occasionally being a part of family gatherings over all these very many years has always been such a happiness in my life--and later in David's also. We loved Glen and will miss him so much. Thinking of you all and hoping for peace and comfort during this hard time. With lots of love.

I worked with Glen at the newspaper. He taught me so much. I admired his professionalism and character, and the fact that he loved bicycling.

Virginia and Teresa, I was so shocked to see this obituary posted downstairs at Oakwood Gardens. I am SO sorry for your loss. As you know I treasured my friendship with Glen as I do you as well. I am saddened but know he's more comfortable in heaven. God Bless you!

We always looked forward to visiting with Glen and Virginia before or after Mass at Saint Ambrose Church on Sunday mornings. Glen will be missed greatly by both of us.

My condolences and best wishes to the family of Glen Silcox. I was a reporter, photographer and a copy reader at the Deseret News, where I worked with Glen on the Copy Desk for a number of years. He was a very competent editor and a good friend.

Dear Geoff, I'm sorry to hear of your father's death. Losing a parent is tough at any age. I will be thinking of and praying for you on Thursday as you grieve his passing and celebrate his life.

May I offer my condolences to you and your children on the passing of your husband. I am uncertain if I know you. But, if you taught English at West High School I am one of your former students.
