In Loving Memory

1000 words is not enough to explain how much Al meant to his friends and family. He was an amazing step-dad to my sister, brother and myself putting up with every strange thing kids do with humor and patience. As an adult it was even more amazing to see him with all of the grandkids. He would read stories, create art, play in the garden, and even change an exploded diaper or two. Al was always there to share a story, (Stop me if you have heard this before,) discuss current events, history or almost anything else. Watching him with his friends Tom and Jan, or with my Uncle David and Aunt Lisette would always make me smile. Even more fun was when Uncle Dan and Aunt Jody came to town with their kids and grandkids. Al never failed to be kind to everyone he met and touched so many other people and lives that I don't have anymore space other than to say we all loved you.

Al was my uncle until my aunt passed away, we had so many fun and memorable times together as a family and all of his magic shows that I was always in. Our thoughts go out to his new family as the passing of a loved one is always hard. But we know that he is back together with his family and parents along with his wife Betty and mother in law Lillian. (Oh and thank you to whom ever deleted our or first condolence to his current family, guess his old family and life before you never existed) Gardner Family

Oh my, time flies so swiftly! Al was a true friend, amazing creative talent and all around nice man. He saved me from the crush of deadlines and client demands so many times I can't possibly count them. He served my family as well, providing his Magic Shows and profound sense of sharing his talents. While I may have missed seeing Al for the last few years, I can promise his name was mentioned frequently! May he and his family know that he will be sorely missed and greatly appreciated by me forever. Paula you were an amazing influ nice for Al. Bless you for all you did to guide, direct, boost, protect and work side by side with Al. Sincerely, Dave Asay
