In Loving Memory

My condolences go out to your family. As you prepare to lay your loved one to rest, may you find comfort from your Bible at Psalms 34:18. ? HE? is close to the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit." This verse has helped me when dealing with the loss of loves ones.

There will never be anyone like my friend Barbara. You could tell her any secret and she would keep it. You could ask her any favor and she would do it. I have loved and trusted her for years. No one ever had a more and loving and dependable friend. I will never forget the years we worked together. She was always thinking of others. I remember that I was allowed to raid her desk at work for crackers and peanut butter when I had to work late. She kept them there knowing I would be hungry after hours. She personally made 15 blankets last Christmas because I wanted to give them to an "Early Head Start" program. So she sewed like crazy for two weeks to get them ready. I cannot even express how much I will miss her. Her smile will always be in my memory.

To Barb's loving famiy, I feel so blessed to know Barb. All the time spent in her loving company is precious time, indeed. She was my Mom's dearest friend, among a group of women who are all so very dear. I know that the great empty spot left in Barb's passing is filled with the love and fond memories she has left us as her parting gifts. Though she will be missed, she will surely not be forgotten.
