Donald P. Hartmann

Kindly Dr. Hartmann taught me factor analysis and reliability assessment lo, these many years ago. He also taught me to work hard, trust my gut and thumb my nose benignly at authority at every opportunity. He taught me the importance of going barefoot in summer and wearing a full-length cape whenever the mood struck; he taught me to delight in one's work and oneself. Don deeply touched so many of us, his students. He will live on in our glorious memories of his wisdom and his eccentricity.
