In Loving Memory

Shirley, I want to express my deepest sympathy and offer my condolonces to you and your family. I remember the camping trips, Thursday evenings and weekends at Holliday Gun Club shooting trap with you, Randy and my father. Randy helped me get into the Shet Metal Workers Union Apprenticeship Program 30 years ago which became my lifelong career. As the construction manager for Carrier Corp., I worked with Randy on a weekly basis designing and estimating HVAC projects. I learned a lot from Randy over the years and I can honestly say that I wouldn't hold the position that I do now if it wasn't for him getting me into the HVAC trade. He was always friendly and had a positve attitude no matter what the situiation was. I have the upmost respect and admiration for Randy and I will miss him in many ways. God bless.

Dear Lindsey, Alexis and family members, I am so sorry for your sudden and tragic loss. Your father was so good to you. He helped you with real estate and other issues. He let you live with him during your home building process. He was a confidante and good listener. Your loss is huge and will take a lot of time to ease. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the love you receive at this time from family and friends help ease your pain, Reba Wilcox

I recently had the pleasure of running into Randy again after 20 years. My husband and I spent a wonderful evening dining with Randy and Judy while they were visiting his uncle & aunt, our very dear friends Don & Paula Redman. It was as though not a day had passed - let alone 20 years. I didn't know him well, but well enough to say that he was an exceptional man that will be sorely missed. Our deepest regrets to the family. Rest in peace Mr. Butters.

Randy I love you and miss you, I still can't believe this is real. If it is, then I have to say thanks for letting me a part of your life by giving me permission to be with your most prized possession, your daughter Alexis. I love her more every single day and it's because of your acceptance that I am able to do so. You were such an inspiration and mentor to myself and many others, I was honored to call myself your son. I love you and miss you and will do my best to protect your legacy and your daughters. They are my life as they were yours. Please watch over us and guide us to make all the right decisions, we are still going to turn to you for answers, they may not come in the form of words but I know you hear us and will do your best to answer our prayers. I love you, I miss you Randy Butters....until we meet again dad.
