Nina Louise Hildebrand

Nina Lou Hildebrand passed away February 1, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old. She was born in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Julian and Nina S. Neff.  She graduated from Granite High School and attended BYU.  She was Miss Wool Grower 1946 and proud of it.  She married James L. Hildebrand in 1949.  She loved to have parties, was a talented bridge player, golfer, knitter and master shopper.   Most of all, our Mother was devoted to her children, showed us unconditional love and made everything fun.

She is survived by her children Susan Bailess (Glen), Becky Thorpe (George), Clark (Jackie), Jeanie, Corey, Jayme Dodge (Carey), David (Sandra); 19 Grandchildren; 27 Great; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and her brother Victor L. Neff. 

She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, brothers Spencer, Albert and great grandson Matthew Nish.

A viewing will be held Thursday February 6th from 6-8pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E, SLC, UT, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building. Graveside Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 S Highland Drive, SLC, UT, on February 7th at 10:30am.
