Our cherished Sandy passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 21, 2016, far too young to leave this life. Sandy courageously fought a two-year battle with cancer.

Born to Brent and Donna Parsons on September 21, 1978 in Salt Lake City. Sandy was a gifted and talented artist, using art as a forum to express other passions and making the world a better place. Sandy loved being close to nature and cared deeply for mother earth, the less fortunate, and all animals. Sandy played sports in high school, including tennis, basketball, and soccer and lived a very active life.

Survived by mother Donna and father Brent and his wife Nancy; sisters Melinda and Elizabeth; brother Courtney along with nephew Nico, niece Violet; partner Melissa and Bandit the cat. We would love to thank hospice nurse, Heidi, for her tender care during Sandy’s last days.

An open house will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, on Tuesday, April 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
