Primrose K. Burgie
Primrose K. Burgie died peacefully at home on January 9, 2016 of causes related to Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Ogden, Utah on March 28, 1940 to Julia and Earl Ball.

She is survived by her loving husband Lyle; children Julie (Gary) Auerbach, Monica (Greg) Matthews, Erin (Jamen) Brooks; beloved grandchildren Jaden Brooks, Paris & Ava Matthews, Lucia Auerbach; and her sister Julia Denise Roberts.

Devoted to her family and helping others, Prim worked as a therapist and Clinical Social Worker at House of Hope, the Eating Disorders Unit at Cottonwood Hospital, Hospice Care, Department of Workforce Services, and did several years of private practice. She was an avid reader, passionate about women's issues, beautiful poetry, laughter, dancing, and being an example of strength and compassion for her children and grandchildren. Prim was known for helping anyone in need, offering great advice, words of encouragement and always extending a helping hand.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. She brought out the very best in them as they cared for her through the many challenges she experienced in her final years. She will forever be in our hearts and minds. We are also very grateful to her caregivers Jennifer Hall and Dani Mansfield, who brought compassion and lightness to the end of her life.

To honor her wishes, a private family service will be held and her ashes will be scattered at a later date. Friends may express their condolences and view a tribute video online at www.starksfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Utah Alzheimer's Association in her name at http://act.alz.org/goto/PrimBurgie or a random act of kindness...she would love that.
