Our loving mother, wife, Oma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2015, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Inge was born on February 10th, 1937 in Neuburg am Rhein, Germany, to Margarete and Richard Nurnberger.

She met her sweetheart Max when he was serving as a medic in the US Army while stationed in Germany. They were married on December 21st, 1957 at St. Johannis Kirche in Schweinfurt Germany. After Max had to return to the US, and against her father's wishes, Inge immigrated with their baby son to the US to be with him.

She worked for Tracy Collins Bank & Trust as an operations officer and then assistant Vice President for 24 years. She remained in banking until her retirement.

She and Max were able to enjoy many trips around the US and to Europe to visit family.

Our mom loved spending time with her family. She was kind and attentive to anyone she would meet. Being a fantastic cook she treated her family and friends with many German delicacies and maintained the German traditions in her home.

Soon after retirement, she developed Alzheimer's and Max lovingly cared for her for many years, until he was diagnosed with lung cancer and could no longer care for her himself.

Survived by two children Larry (Connie) Goudriaan, Silvia (Brad) Bunkall; three grandchildren Kimberly, Nichole, and Christopher; two step-grandchildren Victoria and Brittany; four great grandchildren Landen, Tucker, Hunter, and Addyson; sister-in-law Dini (Marcelo) Droguett; nieces Yvonne and Sonya (Fran); sisters Maria, Helga (Helmut) and family; brother Hans (Renate) and family; sister-in-law Annie (Otto) and family. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister Ute (Rudi); brother Otto; in-laws Dina and Pieter Goudriaan.

A wake will be held on Tuesday, April 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the caring, compassionate staff at St. Joseph's Villa and Inspiration Hospice. Especially to nurse Melinda at St. Joseph's for the extra care and compassion that she gave to both of our parents, and to our family.
