In Ogden during the early 60s the Moss family, fathered by Larry Haun, adopted several, who were at that time teenage renegades; known by group's cohesiveness to enjoy fast cars, good parties. As Gary moved to Ogden he was quickly adopted as member of the Moss family. I'll always remember Gary as a member of our Moss family for his great smile and sincerity in showing he cared for others. As he succeeded me as a tank delivery driver at Culligan in Ogden, he did so with great flare that I still envy today. With Larry's passing a few years ago, Gary has been the next in what (given our ages) will continue to be an and escalated succession into the next phase. I feel comfortable to say surviving members of our Moss family hope sometime/someway in the future, we'll all be able reunite occasionally as Mosses again. From now until then Gary will truly be missed. Red aka Moss Butterfield.

Well .... Yes Yes Yes ! Every man would agree with 'LEAVING' in your sleep - but some notice would be nice . A man's man - for sure . Wit & sarcasm to the MAX . And a few words could express a chapter . I have appreciated many friends over the years , but to me , Gary was 1/2 child hood pal and 1/2 Big Brother . We covered many miles and easy times . I know for sure how sincere he was about his love of Leah , family and good friends .Should also mention generous to the max . To know him - was to love him ! I agree totally . Sincere condolences to all . Don & Sharyn
