We loved your mother, she was so much fun and always interested in what we were doing. We didn't see each other very often except for phone calls now and then but we cherished the times we had with her. We are sad that we didn't know she was ill but we pray for you all whom we know she loved most dearly.

Mae was one of the most kind and gentle women I know. We used to laugh about the time I walked into the Chamber for my first day on the job. She always remembered my "Dorothy Hamill" haircut We have been dear friends for 33 years. I loved out visits, walks, and our laughs. She knew more about me than most people. She was a wonderful listener and a treasured friend. She was so proud of her family and would tell me all the time how wonderful each of you were to her. I know how much she loved your Dad and how much she missed him. I can't imagine the reunion they shared on Tuesday evening. My heart is so sad that I will not get the chance to see Mae again in this life and hear her say "do you want a coke"! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Kristine
