Von, I cannot imagine a Paint Your Heart Out event without your quiet and thoughtful self in attendance. Thank you for nearly two decades of helping NeighborWorks build community and truly making a difference in those you encountered and helped. You and your family are a special group of individuals that I am fortunate to have met. You have been an exceptional role model for your family and I know they will continue to follow in your steps. I am counting on you watching over our PYHO events every August. I will always remember and value our friendship.

Im so sorry to hear you passed my long time friend. You were the guy who gave me a job when I was only 17 and taught me how to paint. You became a good friend who I could talk to and learn from. We had alot of great experiences and interesting conversations through the years. We were both Elvis guys. R.I.P. my friend. Jerry Silva and kids.
