In Loving Memory

My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Joe was loved and he will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you're feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, "You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle." You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).

Sparky introduced me to "Little Joe" more than 15 years ago at the Bottling House where we used to hang out with all the other linemen. Joe was one of the few people that Sparky allowed to call him Mike. Sparky and Joe kept in contact until just the last couple years. We were very sorry to hear of his passing and had a wonderful time talking old times last night. RIP "Litttle Yo". Keep those lights on the Pearly Gates glowing bright--all of us will be along soon! I am very sorry for the loss of your dear husband and father. The pain is intense when we lose someone special. God's promises give us hope. God promises a future with no more pain, suffering, sickness, nor death (Revelation 21:3,4). He also will reunite families with those they have lost (Acts 24:15). May you find comfort in your special memories of your beloved Joe as well as God's promises for the future.

To my friend off many years, Keep on Climbing. It's just a little higher to reach the top of the pole. May your gaffs hold strong. Prepare a place for me and I'll plug along here with many memories of you and good times past. I'll never forget when we met at 1st year apprentice school and our times in class,(jalapenos), watching Animal learn to climb, and time at the Forest Inn. All the times I interduced you to my snakes and watching you jump and run. A gentle meek man.You will be missed. Your friend, Rooster
