Dear My Long Lost Second Family,
I feel awful that I don't have a better way to reach out to you at such a time, but I wanted you to know how much I feel for your family. Linda, you went to the ends of the Earth for Hobbles, and I know she adored you for it. Hobbles welcomed me into your amazing/fun family with open arms and that is a precious gift I adore and love her for. She opened my world to things I would have never experienced on my own and taught me how to just enjoy life. Hobbles was quick to laugh and first to go out there and just live. While Hobbles is the epitome of Lincoln's quote, ?And in the end it is not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years,? I still feel the world, especially her family and friends, was cheated early of a force to be reckoned with, Megan Nicole Hodges. Love you Hobbles.
