“Life is short, break the rules. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that makes you smile.” Mark Twain

My mom asked me to write an obituary for my aunt that passed away Saturday June 20, 2014. I had two ways which I could do this, one with heartache, pain and loss, or another with love, happiness and the smiles she gave me. I chose the second option. As I write this I remember all of the great times we had with her. The family parties, the talks, the phone calls, and the love she shared with everyone she came in contact with. It’s hard for me to remember a time when she wasn't laughing or smiling. She was so full of love and would do anything for anyone. Although she was taken too soon, she lived a life full of love and laughter. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend to many of us. She is now smiling down upon us with our other loved ones we have lost in this life.

She was born February 14, 1952 to Mamie and Robert Burns along side with her identical twin sister Juliette. She had 9 other siblings:  Robert, Bill, Joe, John, Ben, Michael, Jim, Erma, and Mary. She was married once to Gail Timothy that showed her love and support throughout her life. She has many nieces and nephews that she loved with all of her heart.

Remember the great times we got to spend with her. Remember the smiles and laughs we got to share. Be thankful for the time we had with her. More importantly, be thankful for the time we get with those still here. Love them, laugh with them and be kind to them. Remember just how powerful a smile can be. We love and will miss you Aunt Ju, thank you for everything and we will see you again.-Ry
