Elizabeth Armstrong Johnson

Elizabeth A. Johnson, a spunky 96 year old, passed away after a valiant battle with pneumonia.  Elizabeth was a rebel with a quick wit and an extremely sharp mind. She was born in North Carolina in 1917, and was only two years old when her mother passed away.  She attended the University of Utah and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority.  She met her husband Ray at University of Utah.  Throughout their marriage, Elizabeth took immense pleasure and pride in planting and nurturing lush gardens, creating warm and welcoming homes, and traveling the world.  She is survived by Mr. & Mrs. Craig Johnson and family.  Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Raymond Irvin Johnson and her grandson David Kelby Johnson. A celebration of her life will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00PM.  A memorial Mass will be celebrated at The Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple, on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:15 PM.
