Scott of Holladay, UT passed away the morning of February 15, 2014 due to heart complications. He was born to the late Betty and Joseph Bollinger on September 3, 1949 in Salt Lake City. He was one of six children.

Scott graduated from Highland High School and studied at the University of Utah. He spent many of his days working as a third-generation cobbler at the family business. He married Faith Prudence on May 3, 1976 and they were the proud parents of Jesse, Elizabeth and Christina. He had five beautiful grandchildren who adored him, delighted in his cooking and boisterous laugh. They affectionately knew him as Butkey named so by his oldest grandchild, Dylan. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf, gardening, cooking for his family and spending time with his best friend Whitey. Later in life he loved the company of his four-legged companion Aries. Scott always had a story to tell and was often the center of a crowd making everyone laugh. He had a good time wherever he went and always made others feel welcome. He will be sorely missed. We love you, Butkey.

Scott is survived by his wife Faith; son Jesse (Ashley) and their daughters Stella (4) and Rowan (1) and his son Dylan (16); daughter Elizabeth (Danny) and their daughter Marlee (11); daughter Christina (Robert) and their daughter Scout (2 months); brother Ron; and sisters Anne and Tina. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Joseph and sister Joan.

Graveside service for Scott will be held Friday at 12:00 pm at the Salt Lake Cemetery, 4th Ave "N" Street, Salt Lake City.
