Ed was born in Mobile Alabama to Ida Belle Long and raised by stepfather Harry W. Long in Perry Michigan. Preceded in death by both parents; brother Robert and wife Joan.
Ed was a very kind and loving person who loved to work on cars and loved to fish. Survived by half sister Sandra (Fred) Strong of Oregon; sister Arletta Stredwick of Kingman, Arizona; and brother Fredrick Long of Utah; many nieces & nephews and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 13, 2010 at 11 AM in the Ash Garden at Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 S. Redwood Road. Luncheon to follow afterwords at VFW 2 PM at 9045 W. 2700 S. Magna.
