Dale A. Larsen

Greatest Grandpa

Surrounded by his family, Grandpa Dale passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2010.  This gentle giant left us to return home to the loving arms of his mother and father.

Grandpa Dale was born on June 9th, 1944 in Price, UT.  He grew up in Price where he learned the country values of hard work, honesty, friendship, and love.

He was proud to serve his country as a member of the US Marines.  In his professional life, Grandpa worked for Boeing, Hercules and Maverik.

Of all that he accomplished in his life, his greatest treasure was his family.  He was a wonderful husband, a guiding father, loving grandpa and beloved brother.  Grandpa Dale had a keen sense of humor, and a strong loyalty that helped to create many life long friends.  His capacity to love, encourage, and support will forever be felt in the hearts of those he touched.

He is survived by his wife Frankie; his children Trent (Brenda) Biesinger and Hallee (Lynn) Rasmussen; nine grandchildren; siblings Sandra (Gary) Callor, Ken (Nora), Alan (Sheri); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call upon the family for a viewing on Friday, January 15th from 6 to 8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.  A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 16th at noon at the Jordan North 6th Ward, 3836 West 4100 South, West Valley City, with a viewing beginning at 10:30 AM.
