He was born July 18th, 1933 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. to Joseph and Helen Sincavage.  He married Mary Lou Singleton on July 28th, 1956.  He served in the Air Force in the Korean War.  Settling in Murray, Utah, he raised his family where he was active in coaching little league and Babe Ruth baseball, Boy Scouts counselor for many years, seeing his three sons achieve Eagle Scout of which he was so proud.  His greatest joy was sharing his love of fishing with his children in the beautiful Uintah Mountains, camping and traveling, especially to Yellowstone Park, watching his sons and daughter as they achieved their own successes in life.

Joe’s career in drafting and the oil and gas industry was one of pride and success.  He was a Senior land Specialist and consultant.  He retired from Tenneco Oil.  He was president of the Utah Land Association.

Joe was a devoted member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for many years, serving his parish. He was devoted to God in a special way, remembering everyone he knew and those he didn’t know in his prayers.

He met many physical illnesses and challenges with deep faith and trust in God and his doctors for the past 21 years.  We called him the man of miracles as he accepted each one.  We thank his doctors for their loving care, especially Dr. Grant Hawkins who saw him through each new challenge and Dr. Greg Litton for his care during his battle with cancer bringing him to remission.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Lou Sincavage.
