Our wonderful Winkie Tedesco Horman passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She will truly be missed by so many dear family members, close friends, and others whom have fondly crossed her path over the decades.

Winkie was born to Klea Bullock and Fred Tedesco on April 10, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She cherished her childhood memories of her parents, Charlene (sister), and Freddie (brother). Winkie graduated from East High School in 1957. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatre in 1963. She married David Blackhurst in March 1962. They had two daughters, Klea Michelle Blackhurst and Nanette (Jack) Elliott. They later divorced. Winkie married her husband, Dennis B. Horman on February 5, 1970. Together they had three children, Topher (Aimee) Horman, Natalie (Eric) Delphenich and Christina (Dustin) Cronin. She is survived by her husband and all of her children.

Winkie will be most remembered for her outgoing, expressive and special way of making magic happen. This will not be forgotten by her most precious grandchildren Gracie, Molly, Rose, Henry, Tabitha, Theodore, Roman, Freddy, little Klea and Sam.

Winkie loved her career in theater. Her talent lit up the stage in performances at Pioneer Memorial, Sundance, Lagoon Opera House, Salt Lake Acting Company, Hale Family Theatre, Grand Theatre, Rose Wagner and Town Hall in New York City. One of her favorite memories was the first USO tour from the University of Utah in 1960, performing "Damn Yankees" with great and forever friends.

She also loved her involvement with and sincere dedication to her work at KUED, The Music Makers, Phi Mu Alumni, Belle Lettres Bookclub (President), National Charity League (President), Opera Appreciation, and the Festival of Trees.
