Dimitriy Sergeevich Drobyshev
October 4, 1993 - April 11, 2018
Dimitriy "D" Drobyshev, passed away at the much too young age of 24 in Ivins, Utah. He was born on October 4, 1993, in Ukrainian Rovno, to his parents Sergey Drobyshev & Yana Drobysheva. He moved to the Salt Lake Valley with his parents, along with his sister, Daria Drobysheva around the age of three. Dimitriy graduated from Valley High School in 2012 and continued to reside in the Salt Lake Valley for the remainder of his life.
Dimitriy will always be remembered by his many friends & family for his fierce loyalty, wonderful sense of humor, & his ability to make someone laugh when they needed it the most. He was a very sensitive person who hated to have unresolved issues with those he loved & made sure to let those people know exactly how much he did love them, how much they meant to him. He had an amazing smile & infectious laugh that will not soon be forgotten. His mother, Yana, remembers how much fun they always had together, how much laughter they shared. She remembers how helpful he was to her, & how close they were, sharing everything.
Dimitriy loved music, especially hip hop. He loved to rollerblade & skateboard. Dimitriy was fairly athletic, playing football in his younger years, loved playing volleyball & in his later years, became a self-proclaimed "gym rat". He worked out regularly & was proud of the progress he made in the gym.
Dimitriy's life was cut short much too soon. He was a truly amazing man with a beautiful soul, who was taken before his time. Before he had the chance to become the husband & father he dreamed of being. Dimitriy is & will forever be, deeply missed by those that were fortunate enough to know him.
The heavens above have gained another angel. Services will be held this Friday, April 20th, 1:00 pm at the Salt Lake Cemetery, 205 North Center Street, 990 East.
Celebration of life to be held afterwards, 2:00 pm, 373 N Quince St. 3R Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
