Kenneth R. Goodfellow

"Goody"

Our loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away April, 15, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clyde Kenneth Goodfellow and Dorothy Horton Goodfellow.  He graduated from Olympus High School in 1957.  A defining moment in Ken's life was when he was working for Quality Linen, as a delivery driver, delivering to a Farmers Insurance Agency with a persistent district manager who saw Ken's potential and helped groom him into the successful Insurance Agent he was to become.  He put in the time, effort, and dedication needed to create a highly successful insurance agency.  Being awarded many top company awards, trips and accolades.

Ken had three passions in his life:  his family, career, and GOLF.  He loved spending time with his friends and family making countless memories at Lake Powell, camping, snowmobiling, hunting, and of course golfing.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Mark Goodfellow.  He leaves behind his loving wife Susan Goodfellow; daughters Kimberly Miller (Neil) and Toby Nash; grandchildren Ryan Goodfellow (Chadelle), Kassidi Straup (Cody), Tanner Prebe, Orion Nash (Jiajie), Sonja Arrasi, Jeremiah Nash, Sasha Nash; and his precious great grandchildren Lake, Bronzen, Alizea, Wuxian and Wuhan.

Our family would like to give a special thanks to Ken's wife, Susan, for dedicating the last five years of her life with endless love, care and compassion making his life something it couldn't possibly have been without her.  We would also like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made a point of visiting, calling, and being a part of Ken's last few difficult years.  Last, but not least, we would like to thank Pedro and Jessy, Ken's special friends and care companions.  The peace of mind you gave to Susan and our family is something we are forever grateful for.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building. He will be laid to rest in a private family service at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
