Michael (Mick) Patrick Moriarty, age 79, passed away on April 9, 2017. Mick was born in South Salt Lake on February 21, 1938, son of John Henry and Louise Moriarty. Mick completed nursing training at the old County Hospital in Salt Lake, and he worked for many years as a nurse at the VA and University of Utah Hospitals. He was known to be kind and good man by his family, friends, coworkers, and patients.

Mick is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by all eight of his siblings: George, Chick, Jimmy, Jack, Billy, Dennis, Jeanne, and Helen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29th at 10:30 am at St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church, 4900 S. Wasatch St., Murray. Friends may call prior to the Mass (10:00-10:30 am) at the church. Committal to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy. Rest in peace, Uncle Mick.
