Our Beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Great Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, dear friend and teammate Andrew Jacob Garcia passed away on January 16, 2017. Andrew was born November 17, 1999 in Sandy, Utah.

Andrew's future had no limits, but his life was cut tragically short and for that we seek peace and comfort.
Andrew was treasured by all that knew him. Andrew touched the lives of countless people.

At an early age Andrew excelled at anything he did and that followed him throughout his life. He was an excellent student, tremendous athlete and a natural leader, leading both on and off the field.

Andrew started playing sports at an early age. Starting with baseball but eventually finding his true passion, soccer. Andrew played soccer at multiple levels. Most recently Andrew attended the U.S. National Team Training Camp in Florida. Andrew was in discussions with multiple Universities to play collegiate level soccer. While playing the sport that he loved Andrew wanted to earn degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture.

While Andrew was very successful with soccer, he was more than a great player. He was a very caring person, with a crazy sense of humor who always put others before himself. Andrew displayed his love and fierce loyalty for his family, friends and especially "his brothers" every day.

Andrew will be missed by many including his loving parents Geof and Leigh Anne, devoted sisters Sammie and Emma, Grandparents Wayne and Pat Voorhes, Geof and Vickie Garcia, Great Grandmothers Barbara O'Malley, Lucy Fajardo, Stella Garcia, his Uncle David Garcia (Beth) their children Erin and Allie, his Aunt Heather Seay (James) their children Cali, Abby, Jasmine, his large extended family, countless friends and teammates.

A heartfelt thanks to the entire soccer community including; Olympic Development, Skyline High School, Apex FC and Impact United. Many of our cherished memories with Andrew were spent with our soccer family.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to the Andrew Garcia Memorial Soccer Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank. These funds will be used to support soccer players, continuing his legacy for the future.
