Andrew Stephen Millard

Our beloved Andrew went to heaven on September 26, 2016.  Andy was born in London, England on March 18, 1954. His family moved to Utah when he was 2 years old. A graduate of Bingham High School, he also attended the University of Utah.  Andrew was married to Marlene Millard for 20 years, later divorced, but remained close. Andy worked for Utah Machine and Mill Supply as a brilliant Master Machinist until he became ill and retired early.  He is remembered and forever missed by all who loved him, (Doodlebug and Waffles).  Andy shared a unique friendship of mutual respect with Marlene's husband Ryan.  They loved Andy and cared about his well being and were happy to assist him. Andrew always loved Marlene and entrusted her to handle his last wishes as his "one and only wife" and best friend.
Andy loved to read and had copies of all the classics. He also, wrote 3 Science Fiction Novels. He was very talented, a terrific cook and baker. He and Marlene operated Sugar and Spice Bakery. In his lifetime he loved to garden and botany was always a passion of his. He had some of the most beautiful gardens at all of his homes. He also had a talent for wood burning art and made many beautiful pictures. He was generous, loved to give and help people. In his younger days there was nothing he couldn't do or fix. He also loved fishing, hunting and tying flies. Andy was published in Utah Fishing Magazine. He took pride in everything he did but was always humble. He was an intelligent and quiet man. He had a fun sense of humor and a talent for making people laugh. Andrew had a good life. Until the end when his health was failing him.  Although we miss him we find solace in knowing he is no longer in pain. We will always remember you with the most heartfelt love and appreciation. Thanks for the memories. Until we meet again. May God rest, your soul.

In remembrance of Andy, please donate to your favorite animal rescue and be kind to one another.

Andrew was honored at a private gathering with those who loved him.  His final wishes were respected.
