Marie Linda Malone
February 13, 1948 - October 14, 2016
Marie L. Malone passed away peacefully on October 14, 2016. She was born to Ralph and Phyllis Malone in Salt Lake City, UT on February 13, 1948.
She was a long time resident of Salt Lake and had a lengthy career as an Executive Secretary in Oakland, CA; Marlboro, MA and Salt Lake City, UT. She was always the person who kept things running smoothly.
Like her father, Marie never met a stranger and she absolutely loved her family and friends; they brought her much joy and happiness. She always kept in touch and loved sharing great stories. Marie was an amazing cook and had recipes published in several cookbooks. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, as she took great pleasure in giving, especially to the "littles" in the family and it was clear she treasured in their delight.
Marie returned to her Salt Lake home to care for her aging parents and she lived with them until their passing. It is comforting to know that she is finally able to be with them again. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Phyllis Malone. She is survived by three brothers, Mike Malone (Lana), Don Malone (Lee), and Tom Malone, and her only sister, Diane Dalton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
