Ralph Todd Riches

"I truly never learned what the words I miss you were until I reached for my dad's hand and it wasn't there."

Our loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully on August 29, 2016.

Todd was born March 9, 1959 to Ralf C. and Lois Riches. His greatest loves in life were his daughter Judi, and grandson Daxton Todd. He enjoyed anything that had to do with Dax. From teaching him to catch, to walking to the creek and throwing rocks for hours, and most recently attending whatever sporting event Dax was involved in, Papa was always there, with an encouraging smile, and cheering his heart out. He loved his entire family dearly, was the most generous man with an absolute heart of gold.

He is survived by his mother Lois; daughter Judi (Bam); grandson Dax; brothers Ryan (Debra), Mark, Mike (Andrea); and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father Ralf C. Riches.

An open house memorial will be held on Saturday, October 1st from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, guests are encouraged to come dressed as Todd would have remembered you. Complimentary valet parking provided on the south side of the building.
