Jack Knaub passed away on Monday, December 7th due to complications from cancer.

Jack was born in Fort Morgan, CO. on August 27, 1961 to Jacob Knaub Jr. and Nancy Schlotthauer. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in Colorado and remained close to his high school friends throughout his life. He received his bachelors degree from DeVry University in Arizona.  He was employed with Consensys Imaging Service as regional manager. Jack was an avid golfer, fly fisherman and loved watching his favorite NFL teams and fantasy football league with his son Jake. He enjoyed practicing yoga at Centered City Yoga and attending outdoor music concerts with his family and friends. Jack was vibrant, healthy and active until his cancer diagnosis last March. He continued to have a positive outlook as he fought the battle with pain and disability. He was a loyal, loving and supportive husband, father and friend who affected many lives with his positive energy and infectious laugh. Jack was the absolute joy and light in his wife's heart. Survived by his wife Tahna Tyler; children Christy Knaub, Ashley Knaub, and Jacob H. Knaub; step-daughter Channing Clyde; sister Linda Jackson (Tim); nephews Matthew Jackson, Zachary Jackson (Elizabeth & Aramis) Luke Jackson (Alexandria & William).

The family would like to thank the staff at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, the University of Utah Neuro Critical Care Unit and Community Nursing Services for the excellent care they gave to Jack. 

We will celebrate his life and pay tribute to Jack on Monday, December 14th, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are invited to use the complimentary valet provided on the north side of the building.
