Catherine Francis Gonzales
Catherine Francis Krizman Gonzales, 49, lovingly known as “Sis” passed away on November 10th, 2015 and into the waiting arms of her loving mother who passed in 1994. Cathy has missed her immensely but felt comfort in knowing she was guiding her through life.
Sis was born December 19th, 1965 in Salt Lake City to Daniel Russell and Julia Francis Krizman. She was the 3rd of 6 children and the only girl. Her parents were delighted at the birth of their daughter.
Cathy met and married John Paul Gonzales and had a loving 26 years together with 5 amazing children, whom she absolutely adored and lived her life for them. Her children were her world and she was so excited to become a grandma to her only grandson Lyrix. He brought new rays of sunshine to her life.
Cathy also had a niece that was her best friend. Mariah Danielle Krizman, thank you for always being there for us!
She is survived by her husband John; children Johnny Jr., Jesse (Rachel), Cazbien (Daisha), MKail (Brian) and Stockton; grandson Lyrix; brothers Kelly, Danny (Danielle), Christopher, Albert, and Michael, all of whom adored their “Sis”; and mother-in-law Mickey Winrow. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who all loved her so much and know their life is so much more for having her in it. Preceded in death by her mother.
Cathy loved with all her heart and will be missed terribly by her broken hearted children but they will find comfort knowing they also have a guardian angel that too will guide them through life as her mother did.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 15th from 6 to 8 PM, at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, SLC. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 16th at 11 AM at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane, SLC. Graveside service to follow at Park City Cemetery, 1300 Kearns BLVD, Park City.
