David Santiago Gurulé, 40, passed away 10/25/2015 in Salt Lake City, UT.  He was born 01/23/1975, the son of Connie Gurulé.  David attended Rock Springs High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming.

David met and married his wife Randi Chapman and they were married 21 years.  He enjoyed being a devoted father; entertaining and cooking for family and friends; playing guitar and drums; doing handyman work; and being an avid outdoorsman.  He will be remembered for making people smile. 

 He is survived by wife Randi and sons Zaven and Zaniken Gurulé; mother Connie Gurulé; brother Julian Morris; Aunts Ramona, Liz, Diana; Uncles Ivan, Martin, Gilbert, Felix; Father Figures Phil Morris, Cesario Gutiérrez, and Leon Doan; and Grandparents Baudilia and Gilbert Martínez. Proceeded in death by grandfather Marcelino Gurulé. 

 A wake will be held from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, October 31st at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Burial will follow at Elysian Burial Gardens, 4580 South 1075 East, Salt Lake City.
