"Debbie"
Debbie was born in San Diego, CA on October 18, 1955 and passed away in Sandy, UT on April 14, 2015
Debbie grew up in Point Loma, CA where she was raised by her paternal grandparents. Debbie often spoke of the love that she had for her grandmother and would talk about the clothes her grandmother would make for her. After high school Debbie was married for a short period of time and as a result she had two beautiful children Danielle Magnuson Beene and Donald Magnuson. Debbie raised her children in La Costa, California where she met Keith Barber and they were married shortly after. Debbie was a courageous woman and cancer survivor. After residing in California for a period of time Keith and Debbie relocated to Utah. Debbie often talked about how lucky she was to be able to get her job with Big D construction and how lucky she felt to be able to work there for the last 10 years. Debbie loved to entertain family and friends, loved to go shopping, golfing and skiing.
Debbie was proceded in death by her parents Richard C. Houshar and Ella Mae Cates. Debbie is survived by her husband Keith Barber; her daughter and son-in-law Danielle and Joseph Beene and their children Ashely, Ryan and Brooklynn; her son and daughter in law Donald "Donny" and Nicky Magnuson and their children Cyrus and Leily. Her step-daughter and son-in-law Sandy and John Cleary and their children Russell, Nichols, and Chloe. And her three dogs Lucky, Boogie and pepper.
Her service is being held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on April 17th with additional services being held in San Diego California, date to be announced.
