Clark Elmer Talbot
"Elmer"
Elmer was taken suddenly on December 14, 2014 due to a cerebral aneurysm at the young age of 59. Due to the manner of his passing he was able to give life to others by being an organ donor.
He was born on September 12, 1955 in Delta, UT to Ruby Christensen and Clark Nelson Talbot. Grew up in Magna, UT and graduated from Cyprus High School. Married Lisa Bowman on June 8, 1986 in Elko, NV.
Elmer worked in retail for over 40 years and enjoyed all the customers who became his friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and avid coin collector. He was the best at cracking jokes and making people laugh. Elmer's biggest love was his family and he especially adored his 2 grandchildren; who became "the apples of his eye".
Survived by his sweetheart of 30 years Lisa; children Amanda (Steve) Rich, Stewart (Mercedes) Talbot, Derek Pullan; two grandbabies Peyton and Beckham; sister Sharon Talbot. Preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building. A funeral will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon also at Starks, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, Sandy.
