Frank Arthur Jones

May 2, 1947 - November 8, 2022

On May 2nd, 1947, Frank Arthur Jones "One Ball Bandit", a maverick of many hats, was born to Samuel Howard Jones and Margaret Orem Jones.

Sometimes in life, a person is born and the moment is defined forever. Frank began life and ended life with love.  His passions were laced with Harley Davidsons, the wind in his sails (rarely with the right amount of life jackets or any kind of emergency equipment), 20 years of ski patrol in Park City and numerous years of being a beckon of hope to children as the man in a red suit with a magical white beard.

Frank hoped all his interactions focused on the love that decorated his life.  We, as a family, unite as one and hold each other heart to heart.  We will move forward, grieving, mourning and eventually find peace in the infinite love we have for our Poppy, husband, father, mentor, and friend.

In the end it was your enormous heart that failed you.  It was a heart full of love, passion, and commitment.  As a family who cherished you, we wish there was a beginning, a middle and we could skip the end!

Frank is survived by his loving wife Michelle Jones.  Following in Poppy’s footsteps are sons, Zachary Jones, Justin and Debbi Jones, grandchildren, Wyatt, Rex, Brock, Jaylee, Kennedy, Remington, and Cash.  Bonus-children, Nicole Castillo (Kenny), Matt McGill(Jenny), Ashley Triplett (Zak) and grandchildren McCabe, McKinley, Caelin, Maliyah, Paizley and Taylor.  Included as part of our family are Jerri, Nick, Mary, Stephanie, Kendall and Skyler Vigos.  Also surviving are all of those that came into his life, loved him, and let the goodness of his soul be a part of their lives.

Frank is preceded in death by his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Barton Jones (1947-2000).

In lieu of flowers, Frank requested donations be made to the Angel’s Hands Foundation, angelshands.org, admin@angelshands.org.
