Donna Mae Martin

Donna Mae Martin (Millbranth) passed away peacefully in Utah on May 21, 2022, at the age of 96, joining her husband of 64 years, Joseph Leo, in Heaven. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her five children, 12 grandchildren, plus 11 (and counting) great-grandchildren, in many states.

Donna was a faithful wife and loyal friend to many.  A convert at marriage to the Catholic Church, her dedication to her faith and to the Holy Eucharist was always an inspiration.  She was an active member of many Catholic parishes in Indiana and Texas throughout her life.  Donna received nursing training during WW2, and met her future husband in Chicago shortly after the war ended.  She continued in the nursing profession for many years, specializing in pediatrics.  Her passions included her family, reading, and working jigsaw & crossword puzzles.  

A funeral Mass will be celebrated July 12, 2022, at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 East Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah. 

 Her family greatly appreciates the exceptionally kind and caring medical support provided by multiple caregivers as her health declined.

"For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord."   Romans 14:7-8
