Addie Stowers

Addie Stowers

On December 21, 2021 we lost an amazing woman.  But did we really lose?  We are all better people having known her so if you think about it, we’ve gained rather than lost.

Addie was mom to all who knew her, related or not.  She wasn’t just a mom, she was “mom.” She embodied the word and lived it daily.  She was the cutest damn lady you ever did see and the best mother she could be.  She was a proud mother and a very proud grandmother.  Addie was loved by her children Paul (Heidi), John (Michele), Tracy (Mike), and Michael.  And her grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, Emmy, Hailey and Alec.

She was surrounded by family and was able to say her goodbyes.  She knew it was time, she made her decision, she was at peace.  Addie’s will to live kept her going no matter what life threw at her, she was a tough old bird.  When it was time she said, “drape me in purple and tell heaven to get ready!”  And get ready heaven did.

A deep and special thanks to those at St. Joseph’s Villa for the phenomenal care they provided for our mother.  Acknowledgments go out to Starks Funeral Parlor for their great kindness and care for us and our mother.

A viewing will be held Wednesday December 29th at 9:00am at St. Joseph’s Villa 451 Bishop Federal Ln SLC, Ut.  At 10:00am a funeral mass will be celebrated.  Addie will be laid to rest at Mount Cavalry, 4th Ave. & "T" Street following the mass.
