Phillip John Martinez

Phillip John Martinez born February 14, 1948 passed away on November 9, 2021 at the age of 73. Born in Denver, CO, resident of Salt Lake City, UT for 33 years. He loved to cook, shop, and take care of his Wife and family. He had a huge heart and loved to help anyone that needed it. He was always feeding people and sending stuff home with them when they came to visit.

He survived by his beloved wife; Ruby, his children; Phillip Jr., Alejandro “Alex” (Nicole), Felecia (Adam), and Ashley (Kyle). 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; Precious, Claudena, Marisa, Kayla, Annalecia, Sage, Trinity, Alexis, Nicholas, Aleiciana, Sess, Sophia, Siena, and great grandson Julien. Brother and Sisters; Suzanne, Jamie, Peggy (John), Sharon, and Rick. Aunt Carmen, many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many other loved ones. He treated everyone like family and there are too many to list, but he loved you all. Was preceded in death by Parents; Stella and Jimmy Law; Beloved son Michael and many other loved ones.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 22, 2021 with a Rosary starting at 1:00 pm and Mass at 1:30 pm at ST. Francis Xavier Church, 4501 W 5215 S, Kearns, UT 84118. A luncheon to follow at 2:30 pm.  For those unable to attend the service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by returning to this site and clicking the "Watch Live Button" just before the mass begins.  The funeral will be reposted shortly thereafter for all to watch on demand in the future.
