Dahrl Frances Blake age 83 passed away July 7, 2021 after battling Alzheimer’s disease. She spent most of her early life in Twin Falls Idaho, making her permanent home in Salt Lake City again in 1976. She was born in Salt Lake on September 2, 1937, to Martha and Roy Grow.

She is survived by daughters, Cathy, Laurinda and Chalyce (Clark). Step children, Steve, Melissa and Adam. Grand daughters Alyx (Sam) and Dakota. Siblings, Derald (her best friend and twin brother) Betty, Ber, and Jo.

She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Balis and by “the love of her life” Thompson Blake. Hers forever, His always

Dahrl was a successful business owner for 21 years, earning the award of “Female business owner of the year” for several years. Dahrl was respected in her industry (Printing/Pre-Press) that was predominantly men. She sponsored a lot of golf holes in tournaments.

She was an avid golfer, with other passions for water and snow skiing, bowling, knitting, art and gardening.

There wasn’t a person that didn’t fall in love with her the second they met her. She was sweet, intelligent, positive and funny.

She left us with a smile on her face and in her heart.

The family wishes to thank The Ridge and Bristol Hospice for their loving care of Dahrl.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer’s Association.
