Peggy L. Allred

Peggy Anne Lord Allred, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, died peacefully at home on September 29, 2018, after more than two years of fiercely battling liposarcoma.  She was born April 10, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gerald Brent and Judy Bossard Lord. Graduated from Highland High School and Salt lake Community College; attended the University of Utah.  Married Tracy L. Kidd; later divorced. Married Aaron D. Allred on October 26, 1993.

Cat lover, writer, and gamer, Peggy became an avid Pokemon Go player during her illness. She is survived by her husband, daughter Alyssa, parents, sister Amy R. Allen, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  The family thanks the doctors and staff at St. Marks's Hospital, University Hospital, and Huntsman Cancer Center for giving Peggy the best care they could.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building.
