Gayle C. Knight

Gayle Carlile Knight passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on August 10, 2018.

He was born May 14,1944 in Salt Lake to Austin Carlile and Donna Christensen Knight.

He loved spending time showing his beautiful 1965 convertible corvette at car shows.  He was also Elvis Presley's #1 fan.  Some of his favorite things were fishing, taking care of the neighborhood cats and Christmas.  Two Christmas trees adorned with Elvis décor stay up year round.  He was an avid gardener and loved tending to his flowers.

He was a kind, gentle, considerate and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing his.  

He was preceded in his death by both parents and brother Rick.

He is survived by his wife Gayle Phibbs  Connole and her four children Scott Connole  (Mary), Marie Corlin (Greg), Christopher Connole (Missy), and Michael Connole;  his children, Chad Knight  (Dayna), Brett Knight, Tiffany Knight and Teara Knight; 13 grandchildren; and sister Cheryl Beck.
