Mindy, I am so sorry to hear about Jeff’s accident and passing. All the cousins were supposed to do lunch before this COVID thing happened, and now he is gone. I am happy I got to see him at Uncle David funeral, and despite the conditions, he looked happy; which I know you had a lot to do with, thank you. He is with his Dad now and probably fishing. May his memory be eternal. Please let me know when his celebration of life will be. Thanks Ed

Mindy, I just heard of your husband’s passing. Please know I am thinking of you. May time and your memories of him give you some peace. I never met him but from everything I have been reading he sounds like he was a great guy.

Jeff was one helluva good man. Always interesting to talk to. Always willing to laugh at a good (or bad) joke. And always greeted you with a smile whether you had not seen him in years, or had just seen him the day before. I am sorry for this loss because it really does mean one less person to make the rest of us feel happy by him just being who he was.

My heart broke hearing that Jeff had passed away. Jeff, was truly a kind, patient, and loving guy. I will always remember Jeff smiling and being up for a good time. I'm so honored to have had the privilege of not just knowing Jeff, but also becoming friends through my friendship with Mindy. Jeff, thanks for the fun times, the talks/advice, and for taking such good care of Mindy. You two definitely shared something so special that will last forever all time. Love you both always! Kim

We were excited to meet Jeff when he began dating Mindy years ago.. They truly brought the best out in one another and lovingly stood together through good and bad times. Jeff is/was a genuinely good person who brought out the best in everyone. We bonded over the outdoors, hunting, shooting, and even semi-truck driving. SLCC students learned from one of the best. We miss you Jeff.

We have loved Mindy since she was a toddler and came to appreciate and love Jeff after he and Mindy started to date. We always enjoyed having these two visit us. Jeff was the most resilient person I have ever met. He overcame so many illnesses and I never heard him complain. Jeff was also a very hard worker and knew so much about everything. I have several fond memories of going camping with Jeff and Mindy. He knew how to hitch a 5th wheel and how to unload a boat. He was such a smart and patient guy. I’ll definitely be attending the celebration of life for Jeff because he was such a huge part of my life since he was married to Mindy, whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing since grade school. I’m so sorry for your loss Mindy. I hope you can find peace and comfort knowing that he is now out of pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Boof

Mindy, I am so sorry for your loss of Jeff. I am a student that just started at the college and I can tell you that his demeanor really lowered my stress so that I could more easily focus on the task at hand. I enjoyed my time with him on the range and from the sounds of it, I likely would have become a close friend after the program ended. He was easy to talk to, we are the exact same age and it sounds like we have the exact same hobbies and interests. May God's comfort and peace come to you through this troubling time.

More than just a good friend, Jeff was an all around stand up guy. You could always count on him and I always felt our conversations picked up right where they left off. Regardless of distance and time. From sleep overs to basketball to boating, so much of my youth is filled with memories of him. My deepest condolences to Mindy and his family. He will be dearly missed.

I was so sorry to hear of my cousins passing. Although I didn’t know him well my mother Sally always spoke fondly of him. Praying that the peace of our Lord is with him and strength to his family.
